This one is BDT 100 a litre — roughly a sixth cheaper per glass. If grape is a regular purchase rather than an occasional one, buy the litre. The jug advantage This is where grape beats mango at volume, and it's worth knowing before guests arrive. Pour the litre into a large jug over plenty of ice. Add thin lime slices, a handful of torn mint, and top with soda water if you want it longer and lighter. The colour does the rest — a deep red-purple jug looks like you made something, and mango simply can't match it. One litre handled that way stretches to eight or nine glasses and takes about two minutes to put together. Make it just before serving rather than an hour ahead. For a straight drink, four full glasses from the litre, or six over ice. Once it's open: Refrigerate it and put it back after every pour. Aim to finish it within two to three days, and pour into a glass rather than drinking from the bottle — that alone is the difference between three days and one. If it ever smells sour or tastes faintly fizzy, pour it away. Unopened, it's shelf-stable: somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, and check the printed date when it arrives.
