Clemon comes in six formats, and the litre sits at the point where value and practicality meet. At BDT 64 it works out around BDT 64 a litre. The 500ml and 250ml bottles are both about BDT 80 a litre, and the cans run BDT 160 or more. The 2L bundle is cheaper still at roughly BDT 60 a litre — but only by four taka, and two litres is a lot to commit to unless you're feeding a crowd. So the litre captures almost all of the saving without the commitment. It also fits in a fridge door, which a 2L bottle often doesn't — worth knowing if your fridge is a normal size. Why lemon rather than cola: Clemon's advantage is acidity. It cuts through oil and clears the palate, which is why it suits biryani, fried snacks, singara, kebabs and anything chilli-heavy better than a cola does.
