Twenty taka buys a cold Mojo. That's the whole proposition, and it's why the 250ml bottle is the format most people reach for without thinking about it — enough for one person, small enough to carry, and cheap enough that nobody deliberates over it at the counter.
Mojo is Bangladesh's own cola, made by Akij Food & Beverage. Dark, sharp and heavily carbonated, it's been the local alternative to the international colas for long enough that most people here have a settled preference one way or the other.
The 250ml PET bottle is the entry point to the range. It's a single serve, it reseals, and at BDT 20 it sits at the bottom of the price ladder — which makes it the obvious buy for one drink with a meal, a bottle in a bag, or simply trying it for the first time.
At BDT 20 for 250ml, this works out at roughly BDT 80 per litre.
For comparison across the rest of the Mojo range:
300ml can — about BDT 180 a litre
Two things stand out. The 250ml and 500ml bottles cost exactly the same per litre, so there's no penalty for buying the smaller one — pick whichever you'll finish. Meanwhile the family bottles work out roughly a quarter cheaper per litre, which is worth knowing if you're stocking a fridge rather than buying one drink.
This is the comparison that matters most at this size, and the gap is larger than most people expect.
A 250ml can costs BDT 40. This 250ml bottle costs BDT 20. Identical volume, exactly double the price.
What the can gives you in return is speed and protection. Aluminium conducts heat far better than plastic, so a can chills in roughly fifteen minutes in ice water where a bottle takes longer. A can is also completely impermeable, which means it holds carbonation better over a long shelf life and blocks light entirely.
Even so, for a drink you'll open and finish within a day or two, none of that justifies paying twice. The can earns its premium when you want something cold immediately; the bottle wins on every other measure — including the one the can can't match, which is that it reseals.
It suits three situations in particular.
One drink with a meal, where a larger bottle would be left half-finished. Carrying, since a small PET bottle travels in a bag without leaking and won't split if it's knocked about. And trying something, because BDT 20 is a low enough price to find out whether you like a flavour before committing to a litre.
By contrast, if Mojo is something your household drinks regularly, the litre and two-litre bottles are the sensible purchase — the per-litre saving is real and the larger bottles reseal just as well.
Cola and citrus drinks do different jobs at the table, and the difference shows most clearly with the food eaten here.
Mojo's caramel depth and rounder sweetness suit burgers, barbecue, grilled meat and anything smoky — sweetness against char is the point of the pairing. It also works straightforwardly as a cold drink on its own, which is how most 250ml bottles get drunk.
Where it works less well is alongside heavily spiced food. Cola's sweetness tends to sit on top of chilli heat rather than relieving it, which is why a lemon drink like Clemon generally suits biryani, fried snacks and anything chilli-heavy better. For a table of several people, one of each therefore covers more ground than two bottles of either.
Mojo is a carbonated cola soft drink containing carbonated water, sugar, an acidulant and flavouring, plus caffeine as colas generally do.
On nutrition, the range states roughly 42 kcal and 10.6g of sugar per 100ml, which works out at approximately 105 kcal and 26.5g of sugar in a 250ml bottle. Read the printed label for the definitive figures, since that's the authoritative source.

For anyone reducing sugar, Mojo Zero is the sugar-free version at BDT 50 for 250ml. Worth being straight about the trade-off: sugar contributes body as well as sweetness in a cola, so a zero-sugar version doesn't taste identical to the original. It's recognisably Mojo, but not a like-for-like swap.
Nothing ships chilled. Everything arrives at ambient temperature, so allow time for the fridge.
A 250ml bottle chills quickly — about twenty minutes in a fridge, or ten in ice water with a spoon of salt stirred in, which works faster than the freezer because the water contacts the whole bottle.
Getting it properly cold matters more than it sounds. A warm cola tastes noticeably flatter and sweeter than the same drink chilled, because carbonation escapes faster from warm liquid and cold suppresses the perception of sweetness.
The reseal is the bottle's main advantage over a can, so it's worth using properly. Squeeze the air out before capping, so the liquid rises towards the neck — less headspace means less carbonation escaping into it. Cap tightly, and keep it cold rather than leaving it on a desk.
A 250ml bottle is a single serve, though, so in practice there's rarely much to store.

Yes. Mojo is produced by Akij Food & Beverage Ltd, part of the Akij group, and it's one of the few locally owned colas competing with the international brands in this market. For a lot of buyers that's the reason they pick it.

This listing is the 250ml PET bottle at BDT 20. Metromart also stocks Mojo in a 300ml can, and Mojo Zero in 250ml. Larger PET formats are usually available in outlets — check the Mojo brand page for what's currently listed online.
Mojo Zero is the no-sugar version, sweetened without refined sugar. It's the one to choose if you're avoiding sugar or watching calories. It costs more — BDT 50 for 250ml against BDT 20 here — which is normal for zero-sugar variants across the category.
Soft drinks are shipped at ambient temperature, not chilled, so plan to refrigerate it after delivery. Mojo is much better cold — give it two to three hours in the fridge, or twenty minutes in ice water if you're in a hurry.

Dark, sharp and heavily carbonated. Cola preference is largely a matter of what you grew up drinking, so it's worth trying rather than reading about — which is another argument for starting with the BDT 20 bottle.
The range states roughly 10.6g per 100ml, which works out at about 26.5g in a 250ml bottle, with around 105 kcal. Read the printed label for the definitive figures.
Yes — Mojo Zero, at BDT 50 for 250ml. The premium over the sugared version is standard across the category, since sweeteners cost more per unit of sweetness than sugar and the variants sell in smaller volumes.
Not identical, and it's better to know that going in. Sugar contributes body as well as sweetness in a cola, so removing it leaves a lighter drink with a quicker finish. It's recognisably Mojo, but not a like-for-like swap.
More than most people expect. Carbonation escapes faster from warm liquid, and warmth increases the perception of sweetness, so a warm cola tastes flatter and sweeter than the same drink chilled.
Squeeze the air out before capping so the liquid rises into the neck, cap it tightly straight away, and keep it in the fridge. Temperature matters more than time — a bottle left warm goes flat within hours.
