A can is not the cheap way to buy cola. It's the good way to drink it.
Same Mojo, same recipe as the bottles — but aluminium does things PET can't. It chills faster, keeps the fizz where it belongs, blocks light completely, and there's no cap to lose or half-flat bottle left in the fridge door.
Four things, and they're worth knowing because they explain the price.
It chills much faster. Aluminium conducts heat far better than plastic, so a can in ice water is drinkable well before a bottle of the same volume.
The fizz lasts. Aluminium is completely impermeable, so carbonation doesn't seep out across a long shelf life the way it slowly can through PET.
No light gets in. A can is a total light barrier, which protects flavour in a way clear plastic can't.
One can, one serving. Nothing left over to go flat.
Against that, a can can't be resealed — so it commits you to finishing it, which is fine at a table and less convenient at a desk.

So the can costs roughly twice as much per litre as any bottle. You're paying for the format rather than the cola, and that's a fair trade when you want something properly cold soon. It's a poor one when you're stocking a fridge.
When you want it cold now. Fifteen minutes in ice water against considerably longer for a bottle.
When you're serving several people. Handing everyone their own can beats pouring rounds from a shared bottle, and nothing goes flat halfway through the evening.
When there's nowhere to put a half-finished bottle. At a desk, in a car, at a picnic — a single serve solves a problem a large bottle creates.
Mojo's caramel depth and rounder sweetness suit burgers, barbecue, grilled meat and anything smoky — sweetness against char is the point.
Where cola works less well is alongside heavily spiced food, since its sweetness tends to sit on top of chilli heat rather than relieving it. A lemon drink like Clemon generally pairs better with biryani, fried snacks and anything chilli-forward. For a table of several people, therefore, one of each covers more ground than two of the same.

A can reaches drinking temperature in roughly fifteen minutes in ice water with a spoon of salt stirred in, or about twenty in the freezer. Ice water works faster because the water contacts the whole surface rather than just the air around it.
One caution on the freezer: set a timer. Liquid expands as it freezes and a sealed can has nowhere to give, so a forgotten can will split.
Getting it properly cold matters. Carbonation escapes faster from warm liquid and warmth heightens the perception of sweetness, so a warm cola tastes both flatter and sweeter than the same drink chilled.
Pour it into a glass if you have the choice. You get the aroma properly, and drinking from the rim puts your nose against metal — which many people read as a metallic taste that isn't actually in the drink. Straight from the can is fine when you're out.
